The Imperial Chapel was built in 1864 on Empress Eugenia's request. This charming construction of Roman-Byzantine and Hispanic-Moorish style, has been dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe (also known as Our Lady of Guadalupe), the Mexican black virgin. It was listed as historical monument in 1981.
